A
little bit about us...
KBVR-TV, Oregon State University's student-run television station
provides professional experience and hands-on training in the field of
video and television production for OSU students. TV is located on
campus in Snell Hall, otherwise known as Memorial Union East.
Working in news and sports, KBVR reporters cover events alongside the
professional stations. TV students improve skill in writing, speaking,
and teamwork while networking with Portland and Eugene media. KBVR
experience builds the resume while enhancing classroom learning.
Working for KBVR also provides the opportunity to earn elective
credits, and then work your way up the ranks into paid staff posistions.
KBVR also gives you the opportunity to operate professional equipment
and use professional editing systems to create your own programs or
films.
To find out more about us visit us anytime at our office in snell hall
room 210.

KBVRtv is a student run TV station, which is a important
part of Oregon State University student media. The station has been on
air since 1965; it was first located in Shepard Hall and all the tapes
were made and sent to a company for air space. During the past 40 years,
we have experienced many changes, and now you can find us on cable
channel 26 and located in MU East on campus.
Here at KBVRtv, we have many opportunities to help get
involved. You can take our production workshop, work on a show, produce
your own show or be on KBVRtv staff. We offer you credits and possibly
money, to raise your GPA and to light up your college life. Previous
experience is not necessary, and it doesn't matter what your major is.
If you're a student at OSU and you’re interested, we can find something
for you to do. Come on by, or e-mail
Jacqueline Hall for more information.
Thank you for interested in KBVR-TV.
